PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-supply circuit of an AC/DC converter for converting AC high input voltage into DC low output voltage and supplying a load voltage in a stable DC bias range. SOLUTION: The power-supply circuit of the AC/DC converter includes a rectifier, a detection circuit, a control switching circuit, and a voltage adjustment capacitor. The rectifier has the primary side connected to the AC power supply and the secondary side to output the DC power supply. The detection circuit compares the AC input voltage with the preset reference voltage, and supplies a DC low output voltage by turning on the second switch of the control switching circuit when the AC input voltage is lower than the reference voltage. The control switching circuit maintains a DC output voltage in a stable DC bias range. Consequently, in addition to power consumption reduction in the second switch, circuit integration can be achieved with a circuit configuration. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
