PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow only a specific (a part of) reel to emit light without turning off a lamp illuminating a pattern (without interrupting visibility of the pattern) and even while the reel is rotating. SOLUTION: The reel unit is provided with: a plurality of reels 31 arranged in parallel which display on an outer peripheral surface many kinds of patterns; partitions 38 placed among the plurality of reels 31, on the left side of the reel 31 at a left side end, and on the right side of the reel 31 at a right side end; and a plurality of LEDs 21d arranged at least in the direction of pattern arrangement at least in a part of regions of the respective partitions 38.
