METHOD FOR ALLOCATING CONTROL INFORMATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A method for allocating control information in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: allocating the essential control information of a first system to a first sub-frame in a frame that includes plural sub-frames containing plural OFDM symbols, and allocating the essential control information of a second system to an nth sub-frame placed at a position fixed from the first sub-frame (wherein n is an integer which is larger than 1). Through the method, a user is able to allocate the essential control information to a specific, fixed position while maintaining a certain number of system switching points, at which switching between systems is enabled, even though the amount of wireless resources allocated between systems is changed in a frame that supports a heterogeneous system. Therefore, the essential control information that all terminals must receive can be efficiently provided without the increase of overheads.
