摘要 <p>Disclosed is a toner that can realize good running stability while improving low-temperature fixability and can realize the formation of high-definition images having good anti-blocking properties, low-temperature fixation, gloss properties, and anti-penetration properties. When the toner is subjected to a microcompression test at a temperature of (T1 - 10) (°C) wherein T1 (°C) represents the glass transition point of the toner as measured with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), the application of a load to particles of the toner from 0.00 N (0.00 mgf) to 7.85 × 10-4 N (80.00 mgf) with 7.85 × 10-7N (0.08 mgf) increments gives a strain value at 7.85 × 10-4 N, i.e., A80a (%), of 35.0 to 75.0%. In a curve of load (x axis) - strain (y axis) obtained by the microcompession test, the ratio between the area (S1a) of a region surrounded by the curve, a straight line at x = 7.85 × 10-4 N, and x axis and the area (S2a) of a region surrounded by a straight line obtained by connecting a point on the curve at x = 3.92 × 10-5 N (4.00 mgf) to a point on the curve at x = 7.85 × 10-5 N (8.00 mgf), a straight line at x = 7.85 × 10-4 N, and x axis, i.e., (S1a/S2a), is 1.5 to 3.5.</p>
