<p>Driving TFT(T1), switching TFT(T3) and a light emitting element (E1) are connected between power supplies in series. A capacitor (Cs) into which a charge is written based on video data is arranged in a gate of driving TFT and one pixel is formed. Data writing scanning where the charge based on video data is written in the capacitor by a writing scanning pulse (GSP1) generated at every frame period of video data or at every sub-frame period obtained by dividing one frame period into a plurality of periods, and lighting scanning of the light emitting element, in which a lighting scanning pulse (GSP2) is applied to the gate of switching TFT after data writing scanning and the light emitting element is lighted/driven in accordance with pulse width of the lighting scanning pulse, are performed.</p> |
