<p>A coating composition is provided to improve the integrity of paint coatings applied to a substrate. The composition comprises a polyurethane uniformly mixed with a polysulfide. The disclosed subject matter may be utilized as an aircraft substrate is provided with a primer coating applied. The coating composition is then applied over the primer coating. Lastly, a top paint coating is applied over the coating composition to complete the layering process. The coating composition provides the top paint coat with the ability to flex and deflect when stresses are applied by adverse environmental conditions.</p> |
