<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal that displays much information in one screen while minimizing the effect of degradation in key response and an increase in power consumption although hardware resources such as the processing capability of a CPU, memory capacity, and battery capacity are limited, and to provide a screen display method. <P>SOLUTION: The portable terminal includes at least: a storage section (memory 103) for storing display data; and a plurality of display sections (first LCD controller 104, first LCD driver 105, a first LCD 106, a second LCD controller 107, a second LCD driver 108, and a second LCD 109) that display the screen based on the display data. In the portable terminal, the display sections are configured so that frame rates are independently set. When different screens are displayed, the display data are read from the storage section at the frame rates different from one another and the read data are displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
