<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant protecting device for a vehicle which can connect a first impact detecting means and a second impact detecting means used for deciding a collision in the side part of the vehicle to a control means by separate bus lines without increasing the number of the bus lines. <P>SOLUTION: The occupant protecting device 1 for the vehicle includes side sensors 102 to 107 of first to third row seats, a central transverse acceleration sensor 108, and a controller 109. The side sensors 102 and 105 of the first row seats and the central transverse acceleration sensor 108 are connected to the controller 109 by the bus line B12. The side sensors 103, 104, 106 and 107 of the second and third row seats are connected to the controller 109 by the bus line B13. Accordingly, the side sensors 103, 104, 106 and 107 of the second row seats and the third row seats used for deciding the collision in the side part of the vehicle behind the second row seats and the central transverse acceleration sensor 108 can be connected to the controller 109 by the separate bus lines without increasing the number of the bus lines. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
