<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein the work of layout is complicated, and there are few kinds of layout which can be chosen. <P>SOLUTION: A printing apparatus comprises: a tag information read/write section which can perform reading of information from an IC tag affixed to a predetermined position of a print medium or buried therein and writing of information in the IC tag by wireless communication, and reads out layout information which specifies at least the position of a printable area in the print medium from the IC tag, a section for inputting record data indicating the content being recorded on the print medium; and a print control section for printing on the print medium from print object data determining a position where the content of the record data is printed from the layout information, updating the layout information from information which indicates a printed area of the print medium directly or indirectly, and making the tag information read/write section write the updated layout information in the IC tag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
