PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance on ice and snow such as traction performance and brake performance on ice and snow, while securing wear resistance of a pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: A plurality of land parts 20-22 are formed in a tread part 2 by main grooves 10, 11. The central land part 20 is partitioned into large blocks 20B by arranging a pair of lug grooves 30, 31 having one end opened in the respective main grooves 10 and the other end terminated inside and a plurality of sets of connection sipes 40 connecting the lug grooves 30, 31. The large blocks 20B are divided into small blocks 20S by a circumferential sipe 41 of a bent shape, and within each of the small blocks 20S, two width direction sipe 42 and closed sipe 43 are arranged. The intermediate land part 21 is partitioned into blocks 21B by a plurality of lug grooves 32, and within each of the blocks 21B, two width direction sipe 44 and closed sipe 45 are arranged.
