<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve memory saving and a high speed operation while facilitating countermeasures to a plurality of page description languages. <P>SOLUTION: A PDL code is successively analyzed, and converted into a common code or a special code. As for the special code, a special code processing module corresponding to the code is written on a memory, and an address is written so as to be made to correspond to the code.
