摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load acting on a U-rod closest to a fractured opening and on a collision portion of a fractured pipe with the U-rod closest to the fractured opening. <P>SOLUTION: A pipe whip restraint 1A is formed by disposing three U-rods 3 each comprising a curved part 4, a straight part 5, and a connection part 6 on the outside of a pipe 2 assumed to be fractured in the longitudinal direction of pipes at an attitude so that each curved part 4 surrounds the outer periphery of the pipe 2 assumed to be fractured in the oscillating direction during fracturing with a prescribed clearance, and by fixing each connection part 6 on a fixed side. In this case, a U-rod 3a at a position closest to the fractured opening 2a assumed to exist in the pipe 2 is made to include a straight part 5a longer than the straight parts in the other U-rods 3. When the pipe 2 assumed to be fractured is fractured, by reducing constraining force of the pipe 2 by the U-rod 3a closest to the fractured opening 2a, a load burden for constraining the pipe 2 is increased by the second rod 3 from the fractured opening 2a side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
