PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for mounting a glass globe by a simple operation and surely improving drop prevention of the glass globe. SOLUTION: The lighting device 100 includes a base body 1 mounted on a ceiling and mounting a lamp 10, the glass globe 2 having a small-diameter section 2b for fitting to the base body 1, a large-diameter section 2c for housing the lamp 10, and a step section 2d for connecting the small-diameter section 2b and the large-diameter section 2c and detachably mounted on the base body 1, a fastening member 11 for fastening and fixing the glass globe 2 on the base body 1 via a through-hole 8 formed on a side of the base body 1, and a hook 6 mounted on the base body 1 and having a pointed head section 6a in a hook-shape and for making the pointed head section 6a move by inserting and pulling-out of the fastening member 11. The pointed head section 6a is located at a lower side of a lower face of the step section 2d of the glass globe 2 mounted on the base body 1 when the fastening member 11 is inserted into the base body 1.
