PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a reproduced pattern of content recorded in a recording medium for which editing is limited. SOLUTION: When presentation data 51 being real data of moving image content and navigation data 52 defining a first pattern of the reproduction are recorded on a disk 31 for which editing is limited, a recording/reproduction apparatus 11 to which applies generates second navigation data which defines a second pattern of reproduction of the moving image content, and records the second navigation data as metadata 53 in a recording medium, such as an HDD 29 or the like, except the disk 31.
