PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device recording image data of a plurality of angles of field through one-time photography, with which intervals of photography is shortened and its cost is reduced. SOLUTION: A digital signal processing unit 17 and a compression/expansion processing unit 18 generates image data X' for recording from an imaging signal output from a solid-state imaging element 5 according to a photographing instruction, and records the image data in external media 21 as recording media outputting the data to the outside. Then the digital signal processing unit 17 reads the image data X' for recording recorded in the external media 21, and trims the read image data X' for recording to generate image data Y and Z for recording.
