PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable logic controller having the functions of a plurality of programmable logic controllers by a single programmable logic controller without changing a sequence program. SOLUTION: This programmable logic controller PLC1 is provided with: an address converter AC1 which executes each of the sequence programs of respective sequence areas SA1 and SA2 by a sequence arithmetic part SOU, thereby performs address conversion making each register address R1 and R2 corresponding to each control signal correspond to each control object according to which sequence area's sequence program each control signal to be generated according to each control object has been generated based on; and a plurality of input/output terminals I/O to be used as an input/output interface corresponding to each address-converted register address.
