PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meter for a vehicle that prevents a driver from having a feeling of significant exhaustion. SOLUTION: In the meter 1 for the vehicle, a front panel 21 is made of transparent material, and its back face 21b includes a character 24a showing the speed and fuel state. A back panel 22 is made of transparent material, and its front face 22a includes a scale 24b. An outer frame 23 is formed so as to cover the outer peripheral end of both panels 21 and 22. A plurality of point light sources 25 are disposed in the outer frame 23. The plurality of point light sources 25 are close to the outer peripheral end surfaces 21t and 22t of both panels 21 and 22.
