PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a functional sheet material that maintains sterilizing and antimicrobial properties based on metal particles for a long period of time and has excellent washing fastness, further has a screening function of a harmful ultraviolet light etc., and high general purpose property. SOLUTION: The functional sheet material is composed of: a sheetlike substrate 1; a first metal film 2 that is formed on at least one side of the substrate 1, composed of titanium having a thickness of 1-1,000 nm; and a second metal film 3 that is formed on the external surface of the first metal film 2, composed of a silver-palladium alloy made of 70-99.9 wt.% of silver (A) and 0.1-30 wt.% of palladium (B) ((A)+(B)=100 wt.%) or a titanium-silver-palladium alloy made up of 20-80 wt.% of titanium (C), 5-70 wt.% of silver (D) and 0.1-10 wt.% of palladium (E) ((C)+(D)+(E)=100 wt.%) and has a thickness of 1-1,000 nm.
