PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing box for a pet of a simple structure capable of not only facilitating and speeding up folding operation and supplying at a low cost but also miniaturizing the size thereof during folding with good usability. SOLUTION: The foldable type housing box for the pet is obtained by opening the top surface, and forming the box of a rectangular box shape when viewed in the plane. One of the opposing sidewalls 1 is formed so as to be freely twice-foldable in an inward vertically directed state, respectively. The bottom wall 3 is formed into a sheet-like state, and a hook 4 for folding operation by hooking a hand and fingers in order to lift the bottom wall 3 during folding is provided in the central part of the top surface of the bottom wall 3.
