PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage device capable of storing heat without waste in a short time. SOLUTION: In this heat storage device 6 which has a heat storage tank 12 receiving a latent-heat heat storage material 13 and a heat medium oil 14 in a state of being separated into upper and lower two layers, a supply pipe 18 for supplying the heat medium oil 14 into a latent-heat heat storage material layer 16 in the heat storage tank 12, and a recovering pipe 19 for recovering the heat medium oil 14 from the heat medium oil layer 17 in the heat storage tank 12, and in which the heat medium oil 14 supplied into the latent-heat heat storage material layer 16 from the supply pipe 18 is directly brought into contact with the latent-heat heat storage material 13 to exchange heat, the heat storage tank 12 is shaped to have an inclined inner face 23 inclined so that the latent-heat heat storage material 13 of solid phase in a region 22 through which the heat medium oil 14 in the latent-heat heat storage material layer 16 does not pass, slides down to a region 21 where the heat medium oil 14 passes, and the inclined inner face 23 has a low-frictional film 24 for reducing friction with the latent-heat heat storage material 13 of solid phase.
