<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer, capable of executing periodic signal input processing or signal output processing while processing interruption which occurs at an optional time. <P>SOLUTION: The microcomputer is configured so that a CPU starts execution of a periodic task at the beginning of a control period, and starts execution of a non-periodic task after completing the execution of the periodic task.
