<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle inspection apparatus for accurately specifying a vehicle carrying a nuclear material. <P>SOLUTION: This vehicle inspection apparatus for detecting the nuclear material W existing in the vehicle A is disposed on a bridge 10. A neutron detection sensor 1 for detecting neutron released from the nuclear material W is disposed on the lower surface of a bridge girder 11 of the bridge 10 on which the vehicle A travels.
