PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save energy, by maintaining quality of steam supplied to a steam using facility. SOLUTION: A steam supply system includes the steam using facility T, and a steam boiler B for supplying the steam to this steam using facility T. The steam using facility T requests using steam pressure of lower limit steam pressure or less being minimum required pressure for preventing the carryover in the steam boiler B. The steam boiler B has a controller 21 for controlling operation by operation steam pressure exceeding the lower limit steam pressure, and has a pressure reducer 23 for reducing the operation steam pressure to the using steam pressure, between the steam using facility T and the steam boiler B.
