PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mainly a sheet-type or cartridge-type filter of high separation performance having a filter element made of polyolefin ultrafine fiber nonwoven fabric where the problems of poor flow and bubble formation are eased by preventing airlock and microbubble from developing in filtering operation for an aqueous liquid. SOLUTION: The filter uses the nonwoven fabric made of the ultrafine fiber of a mean fiber diameter of 0.1 to 10.0μm for at least one part of the filter element. The nonwoven fabric is obtained from at least one of polyolefin composition that is melt blended with a hydrophilic agent and can be melt spun at 260°C or lower. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
