摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible both the suppression of the vibration of an engine while the engine is not in operation, and the valve collision prevention of an intake air throttle valve. SOLUTION: An engine stop control device is provided with the intake air throttle valve 13 arranged in an air intake passage 11 of the engine 1 in an openable and closable manner capable of blocking inside of the air intake passage 11, and a control means 14 for controlling the intake air throttle valve 13. At stopping the engine 1, the control means 14 controls the intake air throttle valve 13 to quickly close the intake air throttle valve 13 to a predetermined opening near a fully-close state. When the opening of the intake air throttle valve 13 becomes equal to a predetermined opening near the full close, the control means controls the intake air throttle valve 13 so that the intake air throttle valve 13 is closed to the fully-closed state more slowly than being closed to the predetermined opening near the full close to avoid generation of an excessive impact when the intake air throttle valve 13 blocks the inside of the air intake passage 11.
