PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely obtain the effect of preventing a handle from coming off. SOLUTION: This fixing structure of the door handle includes: a seat constituting member which is fixedly mounted on the wall surface of the door; the handle, the head portion of which is fitted into the fitting hole of the seat constituting member; a square shank which is fitted and inserted into the shank mounting hole of the handle; and a fixing implement for integrally connecting the square shank and the handle together. The seat constituting member is equipped with a plate for inhibiting the looseness of the handle, which is fixedly interposed between the wall surface of the door and a seat body, and the plate for inhibiting the looseness of the handle is provided with an elastic piece which slightly protrudes into a through-hole allowing the penetration of the square shank. In a handle turning operation, when the square shank is turned in a predetermined direction, a protruding portion of the elastic piece is pressed against an outer surface of the square shank, and displaced in such a manner as to be expanded outward against a spring force of a material itself.
