PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-retention structure for reducing installation costs and installation labor. SOLUTION: Water is distributed to an upper frame material of each span after being once dropped into a horizontal gutter 30 which is provided below a rainwater tank 20. This enables the water to be equally supplied to each of the upper frame materials, and enables the water to be stably supplied to a block material without unevenness. Additionally, a horizontal reception portion 33 and a supply gutter portion 32 are arranged in two tiers in the horizontal gutter 30, so that the water temporarily stored in the horizontal reception portion 33 overflows to be received by the supply gutter 32. Thus, the water is equally distributed only by the action of force of gravitation, and a complicated water distribution mechanism of a pump, a valve, etc. becomes unnecessary. Consequently, since the water is equally distributed even without use of a complicated long-distance aqueduct etc., a structure associated with the distribution and supply of the water is simplified, and the installation costs and the installation labor are reduced.
