PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barbecue grill being simple in structure capable of reliably closing an air hole for extinguishing fire, while ensuring passage of air through the air hole during burning. SOLUTION: A pot-shaped grill body 1 is formed with air holes 4 arranged along the bottom edge thereof at angular intervals of 90°. A pan 2 is circumferentially formed with protrusions arranged along its edge at angular intervals of 90°. During burning, the grill body 1 is placed on the pan 2 such that the air holes 4 are located between the adjacent protrusions 5, respectively. In this state, the air holes 4 are open, so that air can be easily taken in. To extinguish fire, the grill body 1 is horizontally turned until the air holes 4 are hermetically closed by the respective protrusions 5, and a lid 3 is placed on the grill body 1. In this state, air supply into the grill completely stops, so that fire can be extinguished quickly. This constitution opens/closes the air holes 4 by changing a placement angle of the grill body 1 on the pan 2 so as to surely open/close them in a simple constitution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
