<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive mechanism being a thin type, producing a large generative force, having low characteristic dispersion and excellent response, reducing power consumption, and being easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The drive mechanism 4 is configured of an extensible actuator consisting of a thin film 121 made of a shape memory alloy, two pairs of levers 411, 421 combined into an X shape, and a moving part 431. Ends of levers 411b, 421b are coupled to both ends of the extensible actuator, respectively through elastic hinges 413b, 423b and are coupled to the moving part, respectively through elastic hinges 415b, 425b to be combined into the X shape. The center parts of the levers are connected to be mutually turnable around a turning part 441b. When the extensible actuator extends/contracts, the levers are turned around the turning part and the moving part moves in a Z direction orthogonal to the extending/contracting direction of the extensible actuator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
