PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersive display device in which a size is reduced.

SOLUTION: The immersive display device 100 includes: a display section 10 for displaying an image; a short focus type projector 20 for projecting image light on a display section 10; a storage section 30 in which image information corresponding to the image displayed on the display section 10 is stored; a detection means 40 for detecting motion of a user U; and a control section 50 in which the image information is read from the storage section 30 according to the detection result of the detection means 40, and which displays the image on the display section 10 by operating the short focus type projector 20.
