CALCIUM PHOSPHATE COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium phosphate composition with high mechanical strength and an excellent marginal sealing property.

SOLUTION: The calcium phosphate composition includes tetracalcium phosphate particles (A1), acid calcium phosphate particles (A2) and at least one inorganic compound (G) selected from a group consisting of silica and metal oxides. The calcium phosphate composition includes 1-25 pts.wt. of the inorganic compound (G) relative to 100 pts.wt. of the total of the particles (A1) and (A2) and the compound (G). The inorganic compound (G) in the calcium phosphate is obtained by hydrolysis and polycondensation of silicon alkoxide and/or metal alkoxide.
