摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated piezoelectric element which can prevent the occurrence of breakdowns, while suppressing reduction in the displacement performance. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated piezoelectric element 1 is provided with a ceramic laminate 19, which is formed by alternatively stacking a plurality of piezoelectric ceramic layers 2 and a plurality of internal electrode layers 3, 4, and a pair of side electrodes 11 and 12 formed on their outer circumferential surfaces 195. The ceramic laminated body 19 has a slit-like slit groove 15, which is recessed inwardly from its side surface 195. When the piezoelectric layer, including the slit groove 15, is formed of a slit ceramic layer 25, the slit ceramic layer 2 is formed exceeding twice the thickness those of other piezoelectric ceramic layers, excluding the slit ceramic layer 25. In addition, when the piezoelectric ceramic layer adjacent to the slit ceramic layer 25 is formed of an adjacent ceramic layer, the adjacent ceramic layer is formed at a larger thickness than those of other piezoelectric layers 2, excluding the adjacent ceramic layer and the slit ceramic layer 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
