PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing device using near infrared light irradiation which stably brazes a heat exchanger or the like as a product with excellent brazing quality, can be made compact, has excellent heating efficiency and reduced initial running cost. SOLUTION: The brazing device for joining a plurality of metallic components constituting a workpiece 7 with each other includes: a near infrared light irradiation apparatus 5 for heating a brazed portion by irradiating the brazed portion 10 of the workpiece with near infrared light; a temperature sensor 20 for measuring the temperature of the brazed portion by detecting the infrared light which is radiated from the brazed portion and having the wavelength different from that of the near infrared light; and a control device 21 for controlling the irradiation output of the near infrared light irradiation apparatus based on the detected temperature by the temperature sensor.
