PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output characteristic correction system that easily adjusts output characteristics of an image output device. SOLUTION: The image output characteristic correction system includes a correcting means 2 of correcting an image signal, a signal output means 2 of outputting the corrected image signal to the image output device 3, an imaging element 1 which images an image output by the image output device 3 based upon the corrected image signal, a determination means 2 of determining a correction coefficient of the correcting means 2 according to a result of comparison between the image to be corrected by the correcting means 2 and an imaging signal from the imaging element 1, and assist means 1 and 2 of assisting framing so that the output image of the image output device 3 is imaged by the imaging element 1.
