PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling device not easily having rust development due to the entry of water and not easily damaged in raceway surfaces and rolling surfaces. SOLUTION: An self-aligning roller bearing comprises an inner ring 1, an outer ring 2, and a plurality of rolling elements 3 rollingly arranged between the raceway surface 1a of the inner ring 1 and the raceway surface 2a of the outer ring 2. At least on a part of the surface of at least one of the inner ring 1, the outer ring 2 and the rolling element 3, a metal coating is provided which is formed of the shotpeening of powder of less noble metal than iron.
