PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking/unlocking system which brings about great power savings by supplying electric power in such a manner that a driving power source is switched to an operation mode from a stand-by one only in the use of an electric lock. SOLUTION: This locking/unlocking system operated via human-body communication receives an electric field signal, induced to a surface of a user's body from a transmitter held by the user, by a receiver, separates the electric field signal by a frequency separation means, AD-converts this low-frequency signal so as to convert an off-state of the driving power source to an on-state thereof, and supplies the electric power from the driving power source put into the on-state so as to perform locking/unlocking processing.
