PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accommodation ladder device for being housed in a manhole, which makes it unnecessary to drill a hole for the attachment of an accommodation ladder in a cover receiving frame. SOLUTION: This accommodation ladder device 1A for being housed in the manhole is equipped with the accommodation ladder 8 which is shifted between a storage position to be brought down in the cover receiving frame 2A of the manhole, and a rising position to rise on the cover receiving frame 2A. The accommodation ladder device 1A comprises: a supporting frame 11 which is equipped with a pair of right and left brackets 12 and 12 undergoing the turnable pivotal connection of the bases of the right and left lateral rods 9 of the accommodation ladder 8, respectively; and a driving frame 13 which is equipped with a peripheral wall portion 14 allowing the detachable attachment of the supporting frame 11, and in which connecting portions 15 connected via a connecting means to a holding screw rod 28 inserted into a notched groove 6 formed in the flange edge portion 5 of the cover receiving frame 2A are provided in the at least two locations of the peripheral wall portion 14, respectively. Thus, since the connecting portion 15 of the driving frame 13 can be connected via the connecting means to the holding screw rod 28 for holding the cover receiving frame 2A in construction, drilling become unnecessary.
