PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a jam cannot be previously prevented because of a system in which the conveying speed is made slower every time when the jam is generated and the conveying speed is made faster again if the jam is not detected over the fixed number of sheets. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a recording head 10 having a plurality of nozzles for delivering a liquid drop; a conveying belt 23 for conveying the paper P; and a pair of paper delivery rollers 41 for delivering the paper P formed with an image. When the conveying speed of the paper P by the conveying belt 23 is slower than the slowest conveying speed determined based on information regarding image formation, the paper delivery speed by the pair of paper delivery rollers 41 is changed from the paper delivery speed V1 to the paper delivery speed V2 and paper delivery is completed before a curl amount of the paper P reaches an amount for generating the jam of the delivered paper.
