PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the increase of a cost due to a difficulty in forming a housing part of a spring and a block part outside the spring and prevent the damage of the outside block part in a usual multi-step type socket in which sockets having different diameters are integrally formed. SOLUTION: In the multi-step type socket, the smallest socket of the sockets having the different diameters is set as a main body socket 1. The housing part of the spring 6 is provided in a circumference between the adjacent sockets and the spring 6 is housed therein. Thus, cost reduction is achieved and a defect that the block parts 8 and 9 of the spring are broken during the use of the socket is eliminated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
