The single sign-on between applications is made possible. Therefore, a cooperative ID indicating the association between an authentication device (1) having a client function and a server device (2) is shared between the applications. For this, an SV information management section (Aa) of the authentication device (1) having the client function stores the cooperative ID in a predetermined storage section for managing it. An AP information management section (Ab) stores the association information between the applications including the application names corresponding to the applications in the predetermined storage section for managing it. An AP determining section (Ad) determines whether or not an application name included in a received cooperative ID request has been registered in the AP information management section (Ab) and, if the application name has been registered therein, acquires the cooperative ID from the SV information management section (Aa) to return the cooperative ID to the transmission source of the cooperative ID request.
