The proportional cylinder has 3/2 control valve (3') controlling pressure in a piston head side based on a force relation principle, where the control valve is directly connected with the proportional cylinder in a pressure-sealed manner. A force rear guiding spring e.g. tension spring, is arranged inside a piston rod (12) and stays in operative connection with a control gate valve such that the piston rod position is controlled by the spring.
