<p>The invention provides compounds, compositions, and therapeutic methods including methods for treating cancer by administering prodrugs of the PI-3 kinase inhibitor LY294002 alone or in combination with another treatment or anti-cancer agent. The inhibitor comprises a reversibly O-alkylated substituent. Also provided is a composition comprising a combination of the prodrug PI-3 kinase inhibitor and an anti-cancer agent.</p>
