Disclosed is a fully automatic washing machine comprising a washing/dewatering tub which receives laundry and washing water, a motor driving part which drives a motor, a gear box which transmits rotational force of the motor to the washing/dewatering tub, a water supplying valve driving part which drives a water supplying valve, a drain valve driving part which drives a drain valve, and a control part which controls the drain valve driving part to discharge the washing water and controls the motor driving part to rotate the washing/dewatering tub and also controls the water supplying valve driving part to supply the washing water into the washing/dewatering tub and thus remove a detergent remaining in the laundry when the washing/dewatering tub is rotated. Therefore, it is possible to facilely remove a detergent remaining in the laundry and prevent damage of the laundry due to increase in the number of rinsing processes.
