<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen separation membrane element which is provided with an oxidation catalyst that can maintain a high catalyst activation for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The oxygen separation membrane element 10 is provided with an oxygen separation membrane 13 consists of an oxygen ion-conductive ceramic body and an oxidation catalyst 14 which is formed at least on one front surface of the oxygen separation membrane. The oxidation catalyst is a perovskite type oxide which is expressed with a general formula, ABB'O<SB>3-δ</SB>(wherein δ is a value determined so as to satisfy an electric charge neutrality condition), and here, A is one or two or more of elements selected from a group consisting of Ln (lanthanoid), Ba, Sr and Ca; B is a plurality of metal elements that can constitute a perovskite type structure which at least includes Ti and Fe; and B' is one or two or more of elements selected from a group consisting of nickel, cobalt and platinum-group elements. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
