<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery with balanced input and output, high capacity, and a long life. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium secondary battery includes a positive electrode containing a positive active material applied to the both surfaces of a positive current collector foil and containing a lithium transition metal composite oxide, a negative electrode containing a negative active material applied to both surfaces of a negative current collector foil and absorbing, releasing lithium, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing a lithium salt, and a state of charge (SOC) region where input density and output density are almost equal is present in a region having an SOC of 20-40%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
