<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: while there is an increasing demand for sharing of captured image data among a plurality of people as a digital camera or a mobile telephone with a camera has become popular, it is necessary to register face data and addresses of the plurality of people in advance into each individual camera in a conventional technique, it is troublesome, and image data is sent only to particular persons in the adcvance-registration. <P>SOLUTION: A person records his or her face data beforehand in a face data storage unit 32. When a face recognition unit 33 recognizes that another person is shown in image data captured by an imaging unit 20, the image data is transmitted from an image transmitting/receiving unit 40 to another camera.
