<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a combine harvester that, even in the case the hand and/or garment of a relevant operator are nipped, they can be quickly or safely unnipped. <P>SOLUTION: The combine harvester has the following scheme: an automatic feed guide body for guiding the automatic feed of grain culms is set close to a grain culm transfer mechanism, wherein the automatic feed guide body is variable in posture between its use position and non-use position. When an abnormal nip load is detected by a relevant detective means, in the state of putting the automatic feed guide body to posture variation to the non-use position, the driving of the transfer mechanism is halted along with relieving the transfer mechanism and a nipping mechanism of nipping force. Therefore, even in case of occurrence of such an unexpected accident, operator's hand(s) and/or garment nipped can be relieved quickly, enabling the safety of the operator to be secured well. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
