PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser light source device capable of achieving high power, and to provide an image display device and a monitoring device. SOLUTION: The laser light source device includes a light source emitting a fundamental wavelength light, a wavelength conversion element 16 for converting at least part of the fundamental wavelength light into a laser beam having a predetermined conversion wavelength, a reflection part 18 provided at an emission edge face 16b of the wavelength conversion element 16 to make a light having a predetermined conversion wavelength penetrate and to make the fundamental wavelength light reflect, and an optical path adjusting element 13 that makes the fundamental wavelength light emitted from the light source reflect toward the wavelength conversion element 16 and adjusts an optical path of the fundamental wavelength light reflected at the reflective part 18 so as to be returned to the light source.
