PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure between a front plate and a back lid in a timepiece body capable of acquiring stable operation feeling for a long period, and having no risk of breakage caused by excessive rotation. SOLUTION: The back lid 18 has a projection part 18a projecting to the front plate direction, and an elastic member 24 projecting to the outer periphery direction. The front plate 22 has a notched fitting part 22b provided with a notched port 22c to be fitted with the projection part 18a, and first and second inclined planes 22g, 22e on which a plate spring 24 is allowed to abut respectively at the opening/closing time of the back lid 18. When inserting the projection part 18a into the notched fitting part 22b and rotating the back lid, the plate spring 24 is moved in the line contact state with the second inclined plane.
