PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover and effectively use a drain generated in a linen factory as a heat source for a continuous washer. SOLUTION: The drain discharged from a plurality of finishing rolls 14A and 14B is introduced to and stored in a flash tank 4, and when reducing pressure, steam is generated from the drain. The generated steam is supplied to the continuous washer 11. Thus, about 1/5 of a required steam quantity of the continuous washer is saved. Insufficient steam is supplied from a boiler 18 via a pressure reducing valve 24, a solenoid valve 15 and a check valve 17. The liquid drain unevaporated in the flash tank 4 is sent into a boiler tank 22 via a steam trap 9 to be used as hot water. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
